Brywins Starship cemented his reputation as one of the up and coming stars on the west Cork Circuit with a top drawer performance at The Cornfield Oval in Manch on Sunday.

Taking advantage of a number two draw this son of Share The Delight was quick to the front and after an early tussle with Armoured Bear he quickly disposed of that challenge and was most impressive in a three length winning margin from Heather Breeze.

Brywins Starship and Mike Healy who was the fastest winner of the day at Manch.

A tilt at the Grand Prix next weekend (second last year) is next on the menu for the 2015 Horse of the Year.

ADagio Du Cebe and Patrick Hill winner of the Le Trot.

Racing opened with a win for Saunders Jubilee and Jack Manning. This son of Play With A Full Deck was campaigned in the UK last term running into a few places but won on his return to Cork.
